Pregnancy Must-Haves
Now that I’m in my last trimester of my second pregnancy, there are a couple of items I have found tried and true for both pregnancies and some worth the splurge like the Hatch Ribbed Bodysuit (I’m typically a small but I sized up to a Medium) and the Spanx Faux Leather Maternity Legging.
Belly Oil - I started out with a pricier oil when I was pregnant with Kaleigh but used this one towards the end of my first pregnancy and have continued to use it through my second. I apply it only once a day after a shower and it dries quickly!
Pregnancy Pillow - There are a lot out there, I found the “J” shape to work best and doesn’t totally take over the bed! Sleeping on your left side can get annoying but I’ve gotten used to it with this pillow.
Pill Box - I’ve been using these for years now for all my vitamins but its clean and chic and not too bulky.
Ritual Prenatals - I used Ritual for both pregnancies and love it. It doesn’t have a weird aftertaste and you can set it up on a schedule, that way you never have to worry about running out. I also supplement by taking (2) vitamin D pills along with the prenatals at night. After delivery I move to the post-natals and then the multi vitamin. I love their products.
Hatch Ribbed Bodysuit - I take this in one size larger than my normal size (typically Small, I wear a Medium). A splurge item but worth it IMO. Especially when non-maternity leggings start to hit in an uncomfortable spot, this bodysuit won’t sit right on your belly but still holds it all in.
Spanx Faux Leather Maternity Legging - I’m a minimalist so the less amount of maternity wear, the better. These are ones to splurge on. In my third trimester, I find myself wearing them all the time for nights out.
Cozy Robe - My favorite go-to robe is from Lake. It washes easily too and I just hang dry and put in the dryer for a couple minutes afterwards to fluff it up.
Spanx Sheer Maternity Tights - I just have one pair but wear them a lot with dresses during the holiday season. They are very comfortable and not too tight. I take a size A.
Tank Tops - these are really inexpensive and won’t last super long but I liked putting them on after applying bely oil so the oil wasn’t right against my clothes.
