Annie's First Birthday | Summit, NJ
I am in love with the portrait of Annie below. The dramatic effect is a result of capturing her candid expression, which can be tough once little ones start to understand that camera means "smile". Though we were trying our best to get her to do so for the photos, she had just woken up from a nap and realistically these photos wouldn't have turned out as well if they were forced. Annie had a quick outfit change later on, which revealed she is going to be a big sister! What an amazing surprise for close friends and family but what an even better first birthday gift! Looking forward to taking more photos of the Bienemanns as this little family grows.
