Fall Classic
While summer brings busy weekends spent traveling and always on the go, Iโm looking forward to staying put and enjoying fall weekends meeting friends to watch football (and thereby avoiding the Sunday scaries) and just simply walking around the city with no agenda at all.
This past weekend, we did just that. After getting a later start to our afternoon since we were at a St. Lucia concert Friday night down at Pier 17, we walked down to Morandi for lunch. Their cacio e pepe hit the spot and their cozy ambiance helped us to welcome the fall season. We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the West Village, popping into clothing and tea shops. On a crisp day, meandering through the city with a warm drink in tow is perfection. I wore a new favorite of mine, the L.L.Bean wrinkle-free oxford in white and brought out my felt Rag & Bone hat - I reach for this any change I get! L.L. Bean has such great quality and well priced staples specifically for fall and winter and Iโm so happy I found a well fitted oxford that is under $100 (Iโm wearing a petite XS since their sizes run slightly larger on me for reference).
